Atmospheres: Nature, Culture, Politics is a third year undergraduate module led by Sasha Engelmann at Royal Holloway University bringing together geographies of air with citizen science approaches, creative practice and atmospheric politics. This course focuses on modes of observing, sensing and engaging in atmospheric space. It is taught with a mixture of lecture-based and practice-based workshops, and is assessed through essay writing and a 'practice portfolio'. In 2019, the course was awarded a Teaching Commendation Prize by Royal Holloway University.
